“Getting in to talk to a therapist about your personal challenges is not easy but sometimes it can make a big difference just to speak to someone about issues that are preventing you from having a fulfilling relationship, job and satisfying life. Using various verbal and non-verbal therapeutic techniques, in a safe, accepting environment, you can find new ways to face your concerns, and uncover your strengths and resources to flourish and grow.
My sessions are interactive and offered in a client-centered approach. I work with adults, children and adolescents, providing individual, family, and couples counseling. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief and loss, stress, self-esteem, and communication issues. I also work with artists experiencing creative blocks.
Along with traditional therapy, I have over 15 years experience with expressive arts therapy as a teacher and therapist. Sandtray, writing, art, music, drama, movement or other creative processes can assist in self-discovery and healing. I periodically offer expressive arts groups for individuals dealing with various issues.”
